About Our Boats
Linda Esperanca (Beautiful Hope) – This was our first mission boat.
Amor e Esperanca (Love and Hope) – Our second mission boat, a slightly larger copy of the Linda Esperanca.
These boats are about 100 feet long and three decks tall. Included on board are full kitchens, small surgical rooms and pharmacies, lots of room for sleeping in hammocks, eating our meals on the top deck and having worship time. There are plenty of clean private bathrooms and showers and even a shower porch on the back for those who want to shower in their bathing suits under the stars. Aguas de Amor – This is the pride of our water well drilling ministry. She was designed to carry all of our well drilling equipment along with our full Brazilian drilling crew. You will find her most days anchored in front of a village while the drill team is hard at work. This drilling takes place all year even when the mission boats are not in use. Make a donation today for drilling a well for a village in need of fresh water!
All of these boats are powered by large diesel marine engines and equipped with diesel powered generators. They have water filtering systems which include sand filters, media filters, ultra violet lights and self chlorinating injection systems. Although this cleans our water for bathing, dishwashing and cleaning the boat, we still use bottled water for drinking.
Another wonderful thing about these boats is there is no debt on any of them. Thanks be to God!!!
