Imagine that you live in the most beautiful place on Earth, surrounded by the majesty of God's creation......but for want of a $2.00 pair of glasses, you cannot see it! Unfortunately this is the reality for thousands of Brazilians living along the Amazon River.
The Eye Glasses Ministry serves by providing reading eyeglasses to anyone who needs them. The results are often dramatic and touching as individuals are able to read the bible, thread a needle, draw line through a fish hook, or see their grandchildren for the first time in years.
You do not need any experience or special skills to work with the Eye Glasses Ministry. Training is provided during the trip and everyone is encouraged to spend some time working with this important ministry.
